Medical Center Muntinlupa, Inc. is formerly kwown as  Muntinlupa Polymedic Inc. - Medical Center Muntinlupa (MPI-MCM). It was in 1986 when the idea of building a tertiary hospital south of Metro Manila was conceived. It was in 1990 when a group of enterprising doctors bonded themselves and pooled their resources for the challenges they would meet, and which in their innermost self was the realization of a dream.  On June 15, 1990, their group named Muntinlupa Polymedic, Inc., was officially registered. These doctors envisioned that their hospital will be a referral center in Muntinlupa and its neighboring communities.  They took pains to plan and fully equip the hospital with the modern, state of the art facilities and equipment.

    On November, 1990, ground breaking ceremonies were held for the construction of a 100-bed tertiary hospital in the heart of the City of Muntinlupa.  After exactly one year, a 4-storey edifice aptly named Medical Center Muntinlupa was inaugurated, the only private tertiary level hospital in the area during that time.  The hospital was then ready to service the community with all the basic facilities importantly, it is operated, managed  and staffed by dedicated and very competent medical specialists who are well known for their high quality service and concern for patients. 
 

At present, the hospital maintains the following departments and services:  ​General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive/Aesthetic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine with the following sub-specialties:   Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Oncology, Pulmonary Medicine, Endocrinology, Neurological Services, Rheaumatology, Geriatric Services, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology and Psychiatry.  It also has Departments of Anesthesia,  EENT and Dental Services. Aside from these medical departments, the hospital has the following facilities: ICU/CCU, Cardio-Pulmonary Unit, Hemodialysis Unit and Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Clinic. In addition, the hospital has complete Laboratory, Pharmacy, X-Ray, Electrocardiography, Ultrasound and diagnostic services, ultrasonic nebulization both for the In-Patient and its Out Patient Department.
